So, how is your organization going to attract recent graduates?
The same way you look for value in potential employee's, those same people look for value in your organization. Top talent, when evaluating your organization and the employment opportunity, before deciding to apply, consider:
- Company brand, most times as a whole, or as a part (the department/team they'll be working with/in)
- Corporate stability
- Financial incentive
- Career growth potential (looking at both expected rate of and actual potential)
- Developmental opportunity
Start with the end in mind. That means, when you start the hiring process, start with the end in mind. Envision your new hire, working productively, executing their tasks at an optimal performance level; providing a significant return on investment. Ask yourself, why did this person, the productive, perfect fit for both the position and organization, decided to work here? What value did our company provide them?

Hire the RIGHT graduate and you'll have a productive graduate from day 1. To hire the right graduate, you must look within. Look within your organization. Value beckons value. Create value when presenting your employment opportunities to graduates and the value will be returned by the recruiting of the cream of the crop.
